How Settings works

The short version

1. Press Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. Only owners and admins see it.
2. Settings has six tabs: General, Branding, Team, Payment Processing, Billing and Integrations.
3. Each organization has one owner. The owner can do everything, including billing.
4. You invite admins to run the organization, and accountants to see Finance.
5. You connect Stripe so people can pay for events and give.

General	Your main location and other places you hold events. See Locations.
Branding	Your logo and brand color. See Branding.
Team	Invite people, change roles, send password resets, deactivate. See Team.
Payment Processing	Connect Stripe and open it. See Payments.
Billing	Your Bless plan, its next billing date and your contacts. See Billing.
Integrations	Connect Salesforce. See Integrations.

Roles

Role	Can
Owner	Everything an admin can, and the plan and billing. There is one owner. The owner’s role cannot change.
Admin	Everything in Bless: events, contacts, messages, generosity, finance and settings. Not billing.
Accountant	The Dashboard and Finance only. Can export. Cannot give refunds or change anything else.

Members of your organization, such as guests and donors, are not on the team. They have their own account. See Contacts.

Plans and contacts

Every plan has unlimited events. Each checkout also has a $0.30 fee. Organizations that joined before April 1, 2026 have the Legacy Plan, free.

When you reach your contact limit, you cannot add contacts by hand. People who register online are still added.

Words you will see

Owner. The person who signed up the organization. They manage billing.

Admin. A team member with full access, except billing.

Accountant. A team member who sees Finance only.

Pending. A team member who has not accepted their invitation yet.

Deactivated. A team member who can no longer sign in.

Stripe Connect. The link between Bless and your own Stripe account. The money goes to your Stripe account, not to Bless.

Primary location. Your main address. Bless shows it on event pages and emails.

What Settings does not do

• You cannot change your organization’s name, web address or time zone in the app. Ask the Bless team to change them.
• You cannot pass the owner role to someone else.
• You cannot change your own name, email or password in Settings. Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
• Bless has no two-step sign-in.
